5. ‘N SYNC

The NSYNC was a famous boy band formed in 1995 by Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick in Orlando, Florida, United States but first released in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich, Germany. They sold 60 million albums worldwide and for a period dueled with the Backstreet Boys for the title of most important group in the world.

4. THE BEATLES

The Beatles was a British rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. It is the most successful musical group and acclaimed history of popular music. The group consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar and vocals), Paul McCartney (bass, piano and vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). Its growing popularity, the British press called "Beatlemania", made them grow in sophistication. The Beatles came to be perceived as the embodiment of progressive ideals and his influence extended to the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s.

3. JACKSON 5

The Jackson 5 (also called The Jackson Five, Jackson Five, The Jackson 5ive, Jackson 5ive and The Jacksons) was a musical group of R & B and Soul United States. The group was formed by singer Michael Jackson and other members of the Jackson family, his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon, later including Randy. Over the years the group remained together, sold about 113 million albums.

The Backstreet Boys are responsible for taking pop music, and the boys groups, to a new level in pop culture. They indicated trend and dominated amazing way all musical awards of the 2000s, as the MTV Video Music Awardsda and the Grammy. Fanaticism was huge, those who only saw in England with the Beatles.

1.    ONE DIRECTION

One Direction, abbreviated to 1D is the boy band of the moment. Formed by Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik (who has left the group to pursue a solo career), Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. The 1D came from London, UK, and were formed in 2010, in the wonderful show The X Factor UK. At the beginning of the program they were as solo singers, but with the help of Simon Cowell they joined. Who named the band with that name was Harry Styles.
