Culture

Hey readers
How are you?
This post is for you who like to travel more are not sure about the customs, curiosities and sights of other countries, so I decided to start talking about the third world power. Japan, despite being a country in which there are many earthquakes, there are also interesting things.

First, let's get into how to talk to address people.
San- goes to a person of the same age. Example: Let's say I have a classmate called Alice, then I would have to call her Alice-san;

Chan- is used for babies, children, grandparents and adolescents, generally used for younger women. For men is used "kun";
Kun- is used among friends, a colleague, a brother or a younger guy, even by leaders addressing their employees.
Sama- is the most respectful version of "san", widely used in a person in a high level of hierarchy or even a person you idolize a lot. Eg an attendant to a customer and your boss.
Senpai- is used to refer to a veteran colleague, which is at school, at any club, company will longer than you.
Kōhai-is the inverse of "senpai", ie means junior or a beginner, but is not used as often honorífico.As title can use kouhai-kun to refer to kouhai.
If you want to know more honorifics, I'll leave a link at the end of the post.
Upon arriving home, the home of a relative, friend or even in some companies or even hotels, you have to take your shoes off and put a shoe called uwabaki, they avoid using socks or go barefoot.
In Japan, to eat something is not impolite to make noise when eating, it indicates that you are enjoying the food, either a dinner or a sample in a supermarket, it is polite to say "itadakimasu" (I receive). If you are at a dinner party and handing the drink wait for someone to take the lead and shout "kampai" (health).
There are different ways to greet someone, one of the best known is to bow, and mean different things:
15 degrees- something more informal, used for couples or if you coming up with someone you know in the street (an important reminder: it is extremely rude when someone greets you and you do not return the greeting);
30 degrees- the most common, used to thank a client or a person;
45 degrees- is the kind of more formal greeting, which can be used for a thank you, a formal apology among others;
Now let's get to not only me but many other people like. Japan is also the country where most produce and consume cartoons and comics in the world. More known respectively as anime and manga, you should already know or have heard about them, two examples are the anime Pokémon and Dragon Ball (Z, gt, super, and the list goes on). There is also the anime genre. Ex: shoujo, something more directed the girls to be a romantic and shonen genre that are meant for the male, being action and fight.

Thank you for reading
I hope you enjoyed
