Gramado is a city of the Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. It is located in Serra Gaucha, more precisely in the region of hydrangeas, with an altitude of 830 meters. Its estimated population in 2013 is 34,110 people. It has an area of ​​237.019 square kilometers. Its main access is via RS-115, although it is also served by the RS-235 and RS-373 highways.

Its demography is ethnically diverse, with strong German and Italian influence, which is reflected especially in cooking and in urban and rural architecture.
